The main focus of each Fly-In is exploring a career in aviation, whether that is with the FAA, ATC, mechanic work, corporate aviation, or at an airline. This year, we hosted multiple airlines: GoJet, FedEx, Piedmont, PSA. GoJet even brought one of their fleet, a CRJ-550 for static display amongst the other aircraft ranging from trainer aircraft such as the Cessna 172, Piper Archer, RV-12, to military helicopters from the National Guard or a Caravan from FedEx.

Something new we incorporated this year were Speaker Sessions with aviation professionals! We featured Terry Blue: Memphis International Airport CEO, Kandy Bernskoetter: FedEx 767 Captain and WAI Member Board of Directors, and Jorge Gomez: Aviation Outreach Coordinator at UAA.

Preparation for this year's Fly-In started back in early October 2024. Since then, endless meetings, phone calls, and emails have been sent in order for the Fly-In to be able to come together once again. This whole event could not be possible without officers Cade Plunk, Brandon Carroll, Anna Leoni, Kolby Hilson, Jeremiah Croiset, Jose Saenz, and Chase Stephens. Thank you to our standup volunteers: G, Matthew, Connor, Sabrina, Geno, Mia, Macy, and Jordan! Officers featured below.
